Commercial Business Phone System
If you are running a small business or want to set up one, you would invariably be requiring the modern small business phone systems. A proper communication system is left out from the scheme till the fag end when its absence begins to create the operational and cost control problems. This is the case with most of the small businesses that often tend to ignore the requirements of a suitable telephonic communication system. It is advisable that the business phone system shall be in place well in advance so that the problems are never encountered.
There are four main types of commercial phone systems small business
from which you would be required to make a choice. These are:
1.Key systems: These are the systems which are mostly used if you have less number of employees, say less 20 or 30. These phones have a centralized unit which allows for extension calling within the organization and also preventing the others from accidentally listening to the line that is being used.
2.PBX systems: These are the more advanced systems phone systems small business having a good number of employees, say more than 50. These provide a number of advanced but standard features. These can be programmed as per the requirements of the people.
These days there is no big difference between the PBX and the key system since even the latter are now coming with some features which were earlier present in the PBX systems.
There are many variants of the modern day PBX systems as well. You have the hosted and the IP based PBX phones. Hosted PBX systems are not installed in your premises, thus obviating the need for you to maintain them. The IP based PBX systems use the voice over internet protocol for telephonic communication instead of the regular PSTN lines.
3.KSU-less phones: These find most use as small business phone systems for commercial use. In these there is no KSU or the centralized control unit. These are not permanently wired in your premises. You can remove them at will and move them from one place to the other.
4.VOIP phone systems: These are the phones which are a hot favorite of the organizations in the current times. These are essentially a means of communicating via the internet. Voice travels on the internet wires as packets of data. These phones allow the organizations to cut down on their running telephone bills, especially while calling to the foreign countries. There are essentially computer- or mobile- downloadable software programs. These come with functions like free PC-to-PC calls, video calling, conferencing, call diverting, auto-attendant and many others. These allow better call management and enable organizations to provide good customer service.
While looking for the right systems, you are required to ascertain your precise needs first. You shall even consider the option of going for refurbished Panasonic phone systems
rather than buying the new ones. Ideally, a little advanced system shall be taken which will cover the anticipated needs of the future as well.

Business VOIP telephones
No one could have imagined a few decades back that making long distance calls will not only be same as making the local calls in all respects. That long distance telephony will not only become widespread in usage, extremely economical and affordable and also, retain the good quality sound with clarity was not so imaginable only a decade or two back. What has been the harbinger of this change? The name of the technology is the VOIP, or voice over the internet protocol. As the name itself suggests, this technology is based on the use of internet for communication. Earlier, the internet was available only through the wired connections into the computers and therefore, the business VOIP service providers first provided their services through the PC mode.
Of late, the internet has been made available in the mobiles as well. Today the mobiles allow people to surf the internet from their hand held sets provided they are connected either to the Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) of the Hot wired areas or the internet is provided by the telephony service providers. The broadband connections with or without the wires have further facilitated the communication process by allowing not just the voice packet to be transferred from one place to another but also allowing the video chats or video telephony. voice over IP telephones have also come up. IN looks, these are just like the normal landline telephones but these can be connected to the computers to allow for the smooth internet based communication.
The uses of this telephony technology have been varied. The households can now afford to talk to their near and dear ones free of cost or at minimal costs, comparable to local rates. This way they can communicate any time of the day without having to worry for the exorbitant charges of the same. But the most important use of these phones has been in international calling. While the PC to PC calls using the same service provider at both the ends can be made free of cost, the business requiring to call internationally very often can make maximum use of these Business VOIP
services. Some of these businesses could be the export-import businesses, the call centers, the international business having their spread across different geographical regions and many others.
At the level of organization, the PC–based voice over IP services can be used to do many other additional tasks. These can help in transfer of files to employees, arranging video calling or conferences among the employees of different locations. Even the PBX Samsung system Sydney
used by the organizations for maintaining effective control over the telephonic calls are now available with the business VOIP functionality. Also, there is a lot more to choose from for the customers when it comes to these modern telephones, irrespective of the size of the business.
The coming of the 3G and the 4G technologies for the mobile communication is further set to revolutionize telephony like never before.
